Moroccan Room
Traditional South African breakfasts, breakfast buffets and lunches are served in the Morccanan Room. The fireplace and floors boast geometric-patterned tiles with arabesque motifs while rich colours and decorative leaves adorn the beams above.
Heritage Restaurant
With its unique fireplace, exquisite antique tables and chairs and dramatic oversized paintings, the lavish Baroque-themed Heritage restaurant offers sumptuous à la carte dinners and lunches. This intimate, glass-enclosed eating space seats up to 40 diners.
Barry’s Bar
With its impressive chandelier hanging from a gold painted ceiling, neon blue lights behind the bar counter, comfortable royal blue couches and a bright yellow piano, guests will feel right at home enjoying cocktails, wines, beers and more.

Labyrinth
Located at back of the main building, the Labyrinth was created in honour of our old friend Bruce Copley, who presented holistic courses at Shangri-La for 2 decades.
Spa

Pool
With terrace loungers and a pergola, the sparkling pool has always been a highlight for guests. With a kiddies splash pool, water features and more, get ready for fun in the sun.
Mini Golf
The 9-course Putt-Putt range is set between trees and shrubs and is a fun experience for the whole family.

The giant outdoor chess set located at the Pavilion will get have you strategizing in no time. Checkmate!

Monkey business
Meercats, monkeys and baboons are an integral part of the unique African bush at Shangri-La Country Hotel & Spa. As wild primates instinctively fear humans, we do not feed, tease or engage with the animals that call this place home. As a precautionary measure, we request hotel guests to do the same by keeping a respectful distance from them. They are unlikely to get up to any monkey mischief if guests simply remain alert, supervise children when animals are nearby and keep their hotel windows and doors locked when leaving the rooms.
