Shangri-La boasts a pleasing variety of accommodation – ranging from basic and standard to executive room options. Offerings include hotel rooms and family rooms.

Once guests turn off the road at the Eersbewoon sign and drive along the three-kilometer gravel country road, they experience a gentle sense of peace as the burden of urban stress lifts off their shoulders.
Pool Villas
The exquisite Pool Villas are the crown jewels of Shangri-La’s offering. Located next to the Amphitheatre, these modern blockhouse rooms boast not only a spacious bedroom with two single beds (setup as a king), white Percale linen and an en suite bathroom with shower, but also a cozy living space. Each room features a private splash pool with a wooden deck and stunning views of the valley. The air-conditioned bedrooms have a SmartTV with Netflix/YouTube, tea/coffee making facilities and a bar fridge.
Executive Room
Situated in two unique locations, these country-style rooms feature a spacious bedroom with two single beds setup as a king, white Percale linen and an en suite bathroom with bath and shower. Each air-conditioned bedroom has a SmartTV with Netflix/YouTube and tea/coffee making facilities.
(Select rooms offer four poster beds. Only some rooms allow the beds to be split).
Superior Twin Room
The Superior Twin Rooms with garden view are located in two areas of Shangri-La. Each en suite bathroom offers a shower and bath, while the rooms have two single beds each that can be split or combined to king bed. These rooms boast a SmartTV with Netflix/YouTube.
Standard Family Room
The Standard Family Rooms consists of two single beds pushed together to form in a king-sized bed in the main room, and a single bed in the interleading room. Each bedroom has a private entrance and its own bathroom, one with a bath, the other with a shower.
Family Suite with Balcony
Sleeping 4 guests in two private bedrooms, each with an en suite bathroom with shower, white Percale linen, air-con, SmartTV with Netflix/YouTube and coffee making facilities. The main bedroom leads out onto a balcony and has a king sized bed, while a double bed features in the second bedroom. This roomtype is located on the first floor and is accessible by stairs only. A private door separates this suite from other rooms in the same block.
IMPORTANT: The rooms are not interleading but access to both is via the lockable hallway door. It is suitable for four adults or parents with teenagers.
Deluxe Twin Room
These tastefully decorated rooms feature a spacious bedroom with two single beds (that is available pushed together or separate), white Percale linen and an en suite bathroom with shower. Each air-conditioned Deluxe Twin Room has a SmartTV with Netflix/YouTube and tea/coffee making facilities. Shangri-La offers three different styled Deluxe Twin Rooms. Some rooms are round shaped bedrooms with a slanted flat roof that adds additional height to the bedrooms. Other rooms in this category are modern boxed units known as Blockhouses, with maximum comfort for modern living. A third bedroom option has a large interior space with seating as well as a covered patio.
Basic Room
These hotel rooms have twin beds set up as a king-sized bed with crisp white Percale linen. The rooms also feature a bathroom with shower (or bath), SmartTV with Netflix/YouTube, air-conditioning and coffee making facilities. A double bed alternative is subject to availability.
Standard Room
These hotel rooms have twin beds set up as a king-sized bed with crisp white Percale linen. The rooms also feature a bathroom with bath or shower, SmartTV with Netflix/YouTube air-conditioning and coffee making facilities.
Executive Family Room
Sleeping 4 guests, the Executive Family Rooms consists of two private bedrooms, each with an en suite bathroom with shower, white Percale linen, air-con, SmartTV with Netflix/YouTube and coffee making facilities. Each Executive Family Room has one king bed in the main bedroom and two twins in the second bedroom. The interleading bedrooms each also have their own entrance. The rooms lead out onto a patio. Take note that only one of the two bedrooms in the category has a lounge section in the main bedroom, while the other does not.

Important
Shangri-La does not offer self-catering accommodation and bedrooms therefore do not offer guests the facilities to cook their own food. Mini bar fridges are available in all rooms. Due to health & safety regulations, we are furthermore not permitted to store any food brought in by guests in our fridges. We are a fully licensed premise and consequently guests are not permitted to bring their own beverages or cooler boxes onto the property. Consumption of such beverages are not permitted in any of our public areas and will be confiscated. We implore guests to abide by these rules.
Rooms are situated on various levels of the property. Some roomtypes are not always available in the same location, and we urge guests to check with us upfront if they require rooms to be close together. Please do note that this may not always be possible.
Shangri-La has several staircases and steep pathways leading to and from the main building. Guests who have difficulty climbing stairs need to inform Shangri-La in order for us to allocate a room on the main building level near our major facilities. (Subject to availability.)
Please note that each bedroom is individually decorated and wall colours, head boards, bathrooms and linen will differ. Not all room types offer the same option of room style and is subject to room category. The images shown online are representative of a handful of rooms only. Only select rooms offer an en-suite bathroom with bath or shower. Guests are requested to advise if they have a special preference. (Subject to availability.)
